About Spanish Courses

The Department of Modern and Classical Languages offers an integrated series of courses in Spanish linguistics, literature, and culture. A list of these courses with links to their catalog descriptions and sections scheduled for upcoming semesters is given below. Spanish language courses can be used to fulfill the college language requirement for a BA and the university general education requirements in literature and global understanding.

Studying Spanish will broaden your horizons and enhance your skills. Students interested in Spanish can pursue a minor in Spanish or a major in foreign languages with a concentration in Spanish. Graduate courses in Spanish can lead to a MA in foreign languages with a concentration in Spanish.
