Giselle Quezada, a current graduate student in the Dual Master's concentration in Global Affairs and Spanish, was recently awarded a competitive “Increasing Access Scholarship” to participate in a study abroad program in Spain this summer 2024.

Melissa Duluc honored with distinguished alumni award

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Melissa Duluc, MA Foreign Languages '18, with the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award in Modern and Classical Languages.  Duluc is currently a Spanish teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2021, she was awarded the Fairfax County Public School’s Outstanding Secondary New Teacher award, which can only be awarded within the first three years of teaching.
