Dr. Esperanza Román-Mendoza was an invited speaker at the Heritage Language Learning Symposium hosted by the University of North Carolina – Charlotte (February 22, 2024). Dr. Román-Mendoza led an in-person workshop titled “Language learning technologies in mixed classrooms,” building on her expertise in the field of language learning technology and second and heritage language teaching.
