CHR/CEC present "AI & The Humanities"

Workshop series for AY 2025-26, open to all

We're delighted to announce a special year-long, monthly series of workshops on "AI & The Humanities," a partnership between the CHR and CEC.

This series seeks to foster cross-disciplinary AI literacy, explore how AI shapes and is shaped by culture, ethics, history, and society, and provide opportunities for research incubation and exchange.

Alok Yadav (Director, CHR) and Amarda Shehu (Inaugural VP and Chief AI Officer) will co-lead the opening session, and two reflection sessions at the end of each semester. Other sessions pair CHSS and CEC faculty.

The workshops are hybrid, on zoom and in Merten 1202 (besides November's session, which will meet in ENGR 5100 and for which seating is limited, first come).

See full schedule below.

Registration required via this form. Zoom link sent upon completion.
