Spring semester in Spain online information session

Monday, October 3, 2022 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM EDT
Online Location

Spend Spring semester studying abroad in Granada, Spain, one of Europe’s most beautiful and historically rich cities.

On this Mason faculty-led program, students live with host families and choose from a wide variety of courses in both English and Spanish, making it extremely attractive for students with many different majors and minors (including Anthropology, Art History, Global Affairs, Government and International Politics, History, Linguistics, Marketing, Middle East and Islamic Studies, Spanish, etc.).

If you have completed just one semester of Spanish study (or the equivalent), you're eligible to participate, and you can complete the language requirement in Granada. In most cases, students at the 300-level or above can complete a Spanish minor on this program! There is also an internship option for students with advanced Spanish proficiency, and everyone can choose to study an additional language.

Tuition and program fees cover homestay with a Spanish family (including meals), as well as a four-day trip to Barcelona (including flights and hotel), excursions to Seville, Córdoba, and Málaga, visits to the Alhambra, and Granada’s Arab Quarter and Cathedral. You'll also have lots of free time to travel on your own, as well as to participate in optional language exchanges with local students and enjoy the delicious free tapas for which Granada is famous.
